Also 25% didn’t take their medications as the doctor ordered. Understanding how your medications work will motivate you to take them properly.
Often you’ll find an auxiliary label on your prescription bottle that says “Do not take any dairy products, antacids or iron preparations with this medication”. Certain antibiotics and osteoporosis medications won’t absorbed properly when taken with these products. Usually two hours is sufficient time to wait although with some medications, it could be longer.
